About the Event

Please join us for Walking on Main. This is the last chance we have this year to find homes for our dogs. Some have been here for over 18 months and they are adoptable dogs!

We really need your help. Please help them find homes.

WOM is a lot of fun as the entire downtown area is closed off. Think street fair. You will have plenty of time to walk the fair and take  a dog along if you like!

We need your help!  We are very short on volunteers and many of the dogs do not get a chance at being seen. Some have never been to an event, please help them!

These dogs need homes or at the very least human touch and socializing. Please help us prevent these dogs from failing and living their lives out at Pets Return Home or worse. Bring your friends and family to help.

Every person who comes ensures one dog comes. We have over 20 dogs ready for adoption.

Set up is 8AM and Tear Down is 5PM

Also - the following weekend we will be having a volunteer day to put the warming tarp and heaters in the dog houses. More to follow.

The City of Cottonwood is celebrating the Heart of Arizona wine country and “Walkin’ on Main” on November 11, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Verde Valley Wine Consortium will have Arizona’s best wines on site to taste and take home in our featured Wine Garden. Art and vendor exhibits line the street surrounded by the charming galleries, shops, and local restaurants of Old Town Cottonwood. Walkin’ on Main also includes historic displays, car show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and music.

Live music will play throughout the day featuring some of the state’s best entertainers.
