Pets Return Home Ranch is a busy place with many volunteering opportunities to enhance the life and safety of dogs needing human contact and love! You are sure to learn new skills as well as experience personal growth.
We train all volunteers on safety, safe handling of the dogs, behavior recognition and assessment, proper cleaning, medication distribution and other skills.

Pets Return Home is a working rehabilitation, boarding, training, and convalescence facility dedicated to giving dogs a second chance. Our volunteers play a vital role in helping dogs recover, thrive, and find loving homes.

What to Expect
Training & Safety

Orientation covers safe handling, behavior signals, PPE, cleaning, medication handling, and emergency basics.

Shadowing and step-ups: you’ll learn, then do, with support.
Time & Commitment

We welcome one-time helpers, weekend warriors, and regular volunteers who work on a weekly basis.

Typical shifts: 2–4 hours. Some roles are fully remote/flexible.
Age & Accessibility

Youth participation is possible with supervision (ask us about current policies).
